Acceptable Stay, but Some Issues
The pool areas were nice , and the service there was generally good.
The attentiveness of management was poor. I was consistently fobbed off when trying to resolve a suite door issue, the door did not self-close. This was not rectified . I was told that the doors do not self-close, yet every guest we asked said theirs did.

fantastic resort experience
amazing cocktails flavor balance attentive service
Antish. the creativity and flavor balance were just perfect. his great service made it extra special. He elevated my experience. i definitely recommend him!
the stairs needed daily cleaning, i noticed during my entire stay. leaves and insects were crawling around which was pretty unpleasant. the dirt mixed with the rain made it disgusting to walk to my room.

the resort grounds offer fine views and well maintained surroundings. beach access is easy making it simple to relax. the natural charm of the location is great especially at sunset.

poor service rude waiter
the beachfront grill restaurant was amazing and became my favourite lunch spot , also offering a quiet a la carte breakfast.
the service became the biggest stress of the holiday , lasting for 7 out of 8 days. i had to chase waiters for everything , and once served , they were nowhere to be seen. some were openly rude , like one who rolled their eyes when i asked for a drink.

a solid stay, but some issues
spacious bathroom coffee service tired hotel long wait
The room exceeded my expectations. It was a Junior Suite King with a large, spacious bathroom. The room provided plenty of water and tea and coffee. They refilled it everyday.
i found that the whole hotel is a bit tired and needs a cleanup in various places. Ordering at the Retreat Bar closes off at 7:00pm in time for the opening of the main buffet restaurant. i had to wait for someone to come past and enquire.

large balcony effective workout
My room was quite spacious. It featured a very large balcony with sofas. It also featured recliners. The gym had adequate equipment. It made my workouts effective.

friendly service personal service manicured hotel sense of calm poor conditioner stained beach towels night light
the staff provided very personal and friendly service from arrival. the hotel was clean and immaculately manicured. there was a real sense of calm around the entire hotel
the amenities did not reflect 5 star quality particularly the conditioner. beach towels were stained badly. there was a lack of night lights in the bathroom
