Acceptable Stay, but Some Issues

The pool areas were nice , and the service there was generally good.
The attentiveness of management was poor. I was consistently fobbed off when trying to resolve a suite door issue, the door did not self-close. This was not rectified . I was told that the doors do not self-close, yet every guest we asked said theirs did.

Antish. the creativity and flavor balance were just perfect. his attentive service made it extra special. He elevated my experience. i definitely recommend him!
the stairs needed daily cleaning, i noticed during my entire stay. leaves and insects were crawling around which was pretty unpleasant. the dirt mixed with the rain made it disgusting to walk to my room.

the beachfront grill restaurant was amazing and became my favourite lunch spot , also offering a quiet a la carte breakfast.
the service became the biggest stress of the holiday , lasting for 7 out of 8 days. i had to chase waiters for everything , and once served , they were nowhere to be seen. some were openly rude , like one who rolled their eyes when i asked for a drink.

The room exceeded my expectations. It was a Junior Suite King with a large, spacious bathroom. The room provided plenty of water and tea and coffee. They refilled it everyday.
i found that the whole hotel is a bit tired and needs a cleanup in various places. Ordering at the Retreat Bar closes off at 7:00pm in time for the opening of the main buffet restaurant. i had to wait for someone to come past and enquire.
